Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Traffic Engineer to join our growing team in Shelton. You will work on a broad mix of public and private mobility projects across CT and the region, applying current traffic engineering standards and best practices.

The role offers opportunities to mentor staff, engage in industry events, and contribute to complete street designs while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. A PE license and CT experience are preferred.

Formación

• BS in Civil Engineering required with a focus on Traffic/Transportation
• 7+ years of traffic engineering experience preferred; all levels considered
• PE required (CT preferred); PTOE and RSP are pluses
• Experience developing conceptual intersection/corridor options is a plus
• Experience with urban design and multimodal accommodation is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Thorough understanding of current traffic engineering standards and practices
• Drafting, traffic analysis, and simulation programs (Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, AutoCAD); knowledge of VISSIM and SIDRA is a plus
• Prepare reports and memorandums with strong writing skills
• Mentor younger staff and help grow the team
• Attend industry events and networking
