Qualifications

• One year of highway drafting or related drafting experience with CADD training or six months of CADD training plus high school diploma.
• Experience interpreting deeds and surveys to produce plan sheets is a plus.
• Proficiency with RMS and AutoTAB for design data and summaries.

Responsibilities

• Create highway, bridge, and right-of-way drawings using CADD and conventional drafting methods.
• Interpret deeds and surveys to produce accurate plan sheets and layouts.
• Assist designers with preparing complete plan sets including profiles and templates.
• Maintain drafting libraries and report updates to the Lead CADD Operator.
• Prepare maps, sketches, attend field views, and document meeting minutes.
