H&H in Florida is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, or Orlando. The successful candidate will manage highway design tasks from concept through construction plans, applying sound engineering judgment on challenging projects.

Candidates should have four plus years of experience; a PE license is preferred or obtainable within six months; strong OpenRoads proficiency and eligibility to work in the U.S. full-time are required.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in transportation/roadway design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license desired or to be obtained within six months of hire.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads processes and design tools.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

Responsabilités

• Utilize 3D design to prepare roadway, drainage and Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) designs.
• Propose innovative design solutions and manage task assignments.
• Prepare engineering reports and review designs.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and oversee task management.
• Communicate with clients, subconsultants and agencies.
• Mentor and develop other team members.
