Qualifications

• 10+ years leading strategy, business development, sales, partnerships or GTM across higher education
• Experience applying industrial tech, enterprise software, XR/AR in higher education
• Deep understanding of higher education landscape including IT, digital learning, and campus operations
• Strong strategic thinking translating industry insight into market priorities and plans
• Ability to guide complex, consultative sales cycles in emerging tech categories
• Significant experience in industry leadership, business development, or GTM roles serving higher education or related sectors

Responsibilities

• Own the higher education industry strategy for SPECS and define priority markets, use cases, and offerings
• Lead engagements with higher education clients, positioning AR glasses for teaching, learning, and campus operations
• Build and grow a higher education partner ecosystem
• Develop repeatable partner-led solutions and accelerate onboarding and readiness
• Own customer pipeline development and sales cycles from discovery to deployment planning
• Host SPECS presence at higher education events and curate thought leadership content
