Job summary

Located on the Seattle campus, this role typically operates Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential for up to two remote workdays per week, and offers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of four years of experience in human resources
• Applicants who do not meet these qualifications WILL NOT be forwarded to the Hiring Department.
• Experience synthesizing diverse data sources to reach personnel and policy recommendations.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-HR audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned units, guiding leaders on faculty and staff personnel matters.
• Interpret and apply university policies, collective bargaining agreements, and employment programs.
• Manage faculty employment actions, including recruitment, appointments, leaves, and sabbaticals.
• Provide consultation to department chairs, directors, and administrators on personnel matters.
• Collaborate with Finance to align personnel actions with budget decisions.
