Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect for the World Wide Public Sector team in the United States.

You will own the technical engagement, define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop deep AWS expertise while collaborating with partners and customers to drive cloud adoption. You will work with security as it relates to customer applications, while helping customers integrate AWS services and architect solutions that scale securely.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and implement architectures for projects.
• Respond to RFPs and lead architecture discussions.
• Share best practices and mentor the AWS solution architect community.
