Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate our Public Sector practice by shaping and delivering strategies for broad AWS use with customers and partners. You will own technical engagements, share best practices, and become a security SME for customer solutions in a dynamic team environment.

You will collaborate with a world-class sales and business development team, travel up to 30%, and help lead initiatives to migrate and transform architectures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement around specific implementation projects and provide best practices to customers.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications and services are built on the AWS platform.
• Serve as a security subject matter expert relating to customer applications and services.
