Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to accelerate the EdTech business within the WW Public Sector. You will own technical engagements, design reference architectures, and guide customers and partners through cloud adoption using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and SageMaker.

You will collaborate with sales and BD teams, share best practices, and mentor peers while traveling up to 30% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT in technology domains (software, cloud, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for apps and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and drive project success.
• Define and design architectures for customer solutions on AWS.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS services and how to build scalable apps.
• Serve as security SME for customer applications and services.
