Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

You will be responsible for meal preparation, plating, and supporting the Dietary Manager. Maintain sanitation, manage inventory, and handle special events. Must be available every other weekend and join a dedicated healthcare hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations within a healthcare facility.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control.
• Strong sanitation and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish dishes to ensure attractive presentation.
• Serve as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards and clean equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Flexibly handle last-minute requests for special events and facility functions.
