Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Bristol is looking for a talented Dietary Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. Your role will also include leading meal prep during the Dietary Manager's absence and managing kitchen sanitation.

This position offers benefits such as Paid Time Off and insurance for full-time employees. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Classically trained Cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals following standardized recipes.
• Strong attention to sanitation standards and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive menu presentation.
• Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence.
• Maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Manage inventory and assist with purchasing and recipe compliance.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for special events.
