Job summary

Everyday Coffee Company in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Workforce Analyst to support high-volume multi-state payroll and workforce planning.

This role partners with Operations, HR and Finance to ensure accurate, on-time pay, scheduling compliance, HRIS data integrity and labor optimization across jurisdictions. The ideal candidate thrives in deadline-driven environments, has strong Excel skills, and is committed to improving payroll processes and controls.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of wage & hour laws across states.
• Experience with major payroll systems (ADP-WFN, UKG, Ceridian, Paylocity).

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees across states.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and timekeeping issues.
• Conduct schedule audits prior to posting and payroll processing.
• Maintain HRIS records and ensure compliance with payroll laws.
• Analyze data to identify staffing, scheduling, and compliance trends.
• Support audits and ensure payroll controls and risk mitigation.
