Hutton Brickyards Riverfront Hotel + Venue is hiring a Line Cook for Edgewood, our restaurant and bar. This full-time role requires open availability and will handle large volumes for events and a la carte service, reading tickets and supporting a fast-paced kitchen.

The position emphasizes safety, sanitation, strong knife skills, and teamwork on a line, with opportunities for growth in a resort focused on weddings and events.

Qualifications

• Reading food tickets and banquet orders.
• Advanced knife skills.
• Ability to work on a high-volume line.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Flexible to work weekends and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety, quality, and recipe accuracy.
• Maintains knowledge of recipes, products, and production procedures.
• Manages the execution of all orders (regular service, take-out, delivery, catering, and events).
• Communicates clearly and concisely with all team members during service.
• Has experience working on the line and understands setup and breakdown of stations.
• Oversees weekly inventory, including ordering, receiving, and re-stocking.
• Ensures the completion of all BOH opening and closing procedures.
• Ensures DOH sanitation standards and food safety.
