Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Line Cook to contribute to a fast-paced culinary team. You’ll read orders, prepare food to standard recipes, and maintain sanitary, high-quality service for guests.

Minimum one year of line cook experience, strong English communication, and ability to work in a high-volume environment are required. Day-one benefits, competitive total rewards, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Reads food orders from computer printouts and prepares items according to recipes.
• Prepares all food items according to standard recipes to ensure consistency.
• Maintains sanitation, safe handling, and proper temperatures per guidelines.
• Coordinates with dining room staff and communicates orders clearly.
• Performs opening/closing duties and other side tasks as assigned.
• Ensures adherence to Health Department regulations and SOPs.
