Job summary

WarHorse Gaming in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Cook for Ale Haus to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare high-quality foods according to established recipes while maintaining a clean, safe, guest-focused environment.

We require 1–5 years of high-volume kitchen experience, ability to work all shifts, and a ServSafe certification preferred. Must be 19+ with a High School Diploma or GED. Excellent teamwork and guest service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5 years of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, food safety, and prep techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes and production specifications.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess and maintain personal culinary tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, chopping, portioning, and plating.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure all food products meet quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Identify and address health, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
