Job summary

Ho-Chunk, Inc. is seeking a Cook for Ale Haus to join the WarHorse Gaming Food & Beverage team. The role requires prepping and cooking items per recipes, maintaining safety standards, and delivering guest-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 1–5 years of cooking experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to follow detailed production specifications. Flexible schedule and equipment familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5 years of cooking experience in a high-volume food service environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, food safety, and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and production specifications.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Must possess and maintain personal culinary tools, including knives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, guest requests, and quality standards.
• Perform food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, chopping, portioning, and plating.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure all food products meet quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Identify and address health, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Support company initiatives while promoting WarHorse Gaming's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
