Job summary

nLIGHT in Camas, WA is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to support high-volume production of semiconductor lasers and optics. You will operate automated production tools, troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and work with process engineering to drive improvements on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in MSIII or 1+ year in high-volume production with electronics or optics.
• Ability to learn processes and follow policies.
• Good written and verbal communication; comfortable with new tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of automated production tools to ensure quality and throughput.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; collect data and report status.
• Support routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Collaborate with process engineering on continuous improvements.
• Lead training and certification for production personnel.
