Job summary

nLIGHT, Inc. is seeking Manufacturing Technician I/II to sustain high-volume production, troubleshoot equipment and support continuous improvement across semiconductor diodes lasers and optics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Oversee operation of automated production tools to ensure quality, throughput and utilization.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; collect routine data and communicate status/solutions.
• Define and execute routine maintenance and calibrations on processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with process engineering to drive continuous improvements and reduce downtime; support safety and ergonomics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Production Personnel; ensure compliance with OCAP and Litmos training.
• Document processes in Prototype and High-volume production lines for engineering reference.
• Drive continuous improvement using SPC, DOE, Lean, and Six Sigma concepts.
• Perform manufacturing builds as needed to meet production goals.
