Addison Group is seeking a Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator in New York, NY to coordinate caregiver coverage for a high-volume patient load in a healthcare setting. This direct-hire role emphasizes reliable scheduling and responsive communication.

You will manage 80–120 patient cases, arrange caregiver coverage, monitor missed visits, and maintain accurate scheduling data in internal systems. The position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, onsite, with overtime possible depending on business

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in staffing coordination, scheduling, customer service, or case management in healthcare.
• Comfortable communicating extensively by phone.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Empathetic and professional patient/caregiver interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 80–120 patient cases.
• Coordinate caregiver schedules, call-outs, replacements, and coverage needs.
• Monitor missed visits and address staffing gaps proactively.
• Maintain accurate patient and scheduling information in internal systems.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, Case Managers, and insurance partners.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and related administrative processes.
• Respond to patient concerns and escalations with professionalism.
• Collaborate with other teams to coordinate additional coverage.
• Prioritize urgent patient needs while handling multiple cases.
