Job summary

Heidelberg Materials' New York operations is seeking a dedicated recruiter to lead full-cycle hourly recruitment across a diverse portfolio of construction and construction materials business lines. You will partner with hiring managers, build pipelines, and drive timely hiring decisions while tracking metrics to provide actionable insights for workforce planning.

This onsite role is based in Nedrow, NY with occasional travel throughout Central and Western New York and rare trips to Allentown,

Qualifications

• Full lifecycle recruiting experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Strong sourcing, assessment, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with data use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; familiarity with unionized environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for high-volume hourly positions across multiple New York locations.
• Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to develop hiring strategies and drive timely decisions.
• Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and outreach for hard-to-fill roles.
• Track activity, analyze trends, and leverage metrics for workforce planning insights.
• Influence outcomes as a trusted advisor, setting expectations and promoting best practices.
