Job summary

Atrium is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an on-site role in the Progress village/Brandon area, Tampa, FL. The temp-to-hire position requires 3–5+ years AP experience, QuickBooks Desktop proficiency, and the ability to manage 300+ invoices weekly in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with accounting, finance, procurement, and operations teams, perform three-way matching, and support month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Experience processing 300+ invoices weekly in a high-volume AP environment.
• Three-way matching, invoice coding, and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reporting).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process 300+ PO and non-PO invoices weekly in a high-volume environment.
• Perform three-way matching of PO invoices against PO, receiving docs, and scale tickets.
• Code non-PO invoices to the correct GL accounts and cost centers with approvals.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors, purchasing, receiving, and plant teams.
• Process vendor payments via ACH, check, and occasional wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP balances to the GL.
• Assist with AP aging, cash forecasting, month-end accruals, and 1099 reporting.
• Maintain vendor records and verify banking changes.
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Finance to improve AP processes.
