disABLEDperson Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the corporate office and Southeast region. This in-office role will be the sole AP resource, processing 200+ invoices daily while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

The candidate will interact with the Controller, Project Accountants, Project Managers, vendors, and the broader Accounting team, and navigate multiple software systems to improve processes.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to process 200+ invoices daily with accuracy
• Exceptional attention to detail in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Outgoing written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and issue resolution abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable across multiple software platforms
• Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and internal teams
• Experience with coordinating with Project Accountants and Managers

Aufgaben

• Process high-volume vendor invoices (200+ per day) with accuracy
• Serve as primary AP contact for corporate office and Southeast region
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and documentation
• Reconcile AP records to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors on invoices, payments, discrepancies, and inquiries
• Process employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance
• Execute weekly payment runs and maintain AP records
• Collaborate with Project Accountants and Project Managers on issues
• Work with Accounting team to research and resolve problems across systems
• Take ownership of problems and drive resolution
• Support additional accounting projects as needed
