Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is seeking an Intake Coordinator to guide families from inquiry through intake in a high-volume, metrics-driven role. This hybrid position based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ combines family support with consultative sales and pipeline management to move families toward services.

You will respond to inquiries, conduct 40–60 calls daily, educate families about ABA and the intake process, qualify based on insurance and need, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure a smooth

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, admissions, enrollment, or conversion-focused role.
• Experience completing 50+ calls per day in a high-volume environment.
• Previous experience with commission, incentives, or individual performance goals.
• Strong empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Resilience when calls go unanswered or families require repeated follow-up.
• Excellent organization and pipeline-management skills.
• Confidence handling objections and asking for a clear next-step commitment.
• Comfort working with scripts, call coaching, CRM systems, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to new family inquiries and referrals.
• Complete 40–60 inbound and outbound calls per day with warm leads.
• Educate families about ABA therapy, our services, and the intake process.
• Qualify families based on insurance, location, age, and service needs.
• Guide qualified families toward an initial assessment.
• Follow up to collect documentation and keep families moving forward.
• Manage a high-volume pipeline with accuracy and urgency.
• Maintain timely, detailed records in the CRM.
• Partner with clinical and operations teams to support a smooth transition into services.
• Meet performance expectations for conversion, completed intakes, follow-up, responsiveness, and pipeline health.
