Job summary

Mai Placement is seeking a Director of Intake for our ABA program in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. You will lead the patient intake function, optimize access, and improve referral-to-admission conversion while ensuring a seamless experience for children and families from inquiry to services start.

Qualifications

• Experience leading patient intake, admissions, or patient access in a multi-site healthcare setting.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and improving operational performance.
• Experience within ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric healthcare is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Intake Representatives.
• Oversee all inbound patient inquiries and referral channels.
• Improve outreach, qualification, and transitions from inquiry to admission.
• Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Marketing, Credentialing, RCM, Finance, and BI to streamline onboarding.
