Job summary

Ameren Corporation's Transmission Division seeks a Transmission Line Design and Maintenance Engineer to lead design studies, assess line safety, and manage multi-project efforts for 100 kV and above lines.

You will coordinate with real estate, drafting, line crews and contractors, develop cost estimates, maintain schedules, and ensure compliance with NESC and design standards, while contributing to project budgeting and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• EIT and/or P.E. license or commitment to pursue in Illinois/Missouri required.
• Good analytical, communications and human relations skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering to establish safe design parameters and codes.
• Develop construction specifications, bid documents and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with real estate, drafting, line crews and contractors; ensure NESC compliance.
• Manage project costs and schedules; provide progress updates and reports.
