Job summary

WSP is seeking a High Voltage Transmission Line Inspector for our Power Constructors, Inc. (PCI) sector, based in Baton Rouge, LA with the option to work remotely from a mutually agreed location.

This role involves field inspections of construction projects, verifying conformance with plans, codes, and safety standards, and producing clear documentation. You will use survey tools, review drawings, and coordinate with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 9+ years of post-education experience in construction inspection.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; capable of photo documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide field inspection support to ensure compliance with plans, specs, contracts and codes.
• Perform inspections on multiple projects, evaluating concrete, underground pipelines, earthwork, structures, and electrical installations.
• Generate accurate documentation and reports detailing inspection findings.
