Job summary

PACK Power, LLC is hiring for a field construction lead responsible for coordinating and executing high voltage and medium voltage construction tasks across projects in the United States. You will ensure safety, quality, and productive work while guiding a small team and interpreting blueprints and job orders.

The role includes travel to different job sites with per diem; preferred candidates have HV substation experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience with LV systems, blueprints, and control wiring terminations preferred.
• Training and experience in electrical/high voltage substations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and lead the team to do the same.
• Leads a team of 1-3 apprentices/laborers in safe, productive construction activities.
• Ensure the assigned work progresses on schedule.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and assign duties.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality; suggest changes to increase efficiency.
• Assist Senior Journeyman with inventory, tracking, and forecasting of materials.
• May confer with jobsite superintendent and/or foreman to coordinate activities of projects.
