Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. seeks a High Voltage Substation Superintendent to lead field execution of HV substation, transmission, and interconnection scopes on large-scale power infrastructure projects within our Project Delivery Team.

You will oversee subcontractors and own the safe, compliant, and high-quality execution from initial site preparation through testing, commissioning and energization. You will drive schedule performance, ensure contract alignment, and lead field teams to successfully

Qualifications

• Experience with high-voltage electrical systems including substations, transmission lines, or interconnections.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing contract scope, schedule, and quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage subcontractors executing HV substation and transmission work, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality installation.
• Oversee the full HV construction lifecycle from site marking to energization readiness.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards across HV scopes and project phases.
• Develop and enforce a 3-week lookahead schedule for HV activities and milestones.
• Maintain schedule, budget, and contract compliance while proactively identifying risks.
• Verify subcontractor work aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Provide clear daily reporting on progress, risks, and subcontractor performance to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Civil, Mechanical, and PV Electrical teams to optimize sequencing and reduce delays.
• Coach and develop field teams and subcontractors with PBM principles and continuous improvement.
