RESA Power is seeking a Field Electrical Commissioning Engineer to provide testing and commissioning services for electric utility customers in the Midwest, including travel across Northern IL, Eastern Wisconsin, and Michigan. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years in commissioning, strong knowledge of NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years in commissioning/testing.
• Experience in electric utility commissioning and testing preferred.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, startups and data collection for HV systems.
• Read and interpret power system schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Work safely following electrical safety procedures.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Travel to cover Northern IL, Eastern Wisconsin, Upper Peninsula MI.
