Potelco, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to join the Sumner, WA team.

This role manages high voltage transmission, distribution, and substation construction/maintenance projects, and oversees scheduling, budgeting, staffing, safety, quality, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has 1+ year PM experience in construction, strong written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and willingness to travel.

Formación

• 1+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively.
• Must be willing to travel, short-term.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Associate's or bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.
• High-voltage powerline industry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies
• Other duties and tasks, as assigned.
