Job summary

Potelco, Inc., a subsidiary of Quanta Services, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead EPC projects for high-voltage transmission, distribution, and substations in Hubbard, OR or Sumner, WA. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client relationships from award to closeout.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience in construction/EPC, strong contracts and cost control knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement, estimating, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, including EPC or design-build projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects with budgets, schedules, contracts, and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, and project cost control.
• Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and permitting agencies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to travel on short-term assignments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC projects from award through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop project execution plans and schedule the project in steps to meet milestones.
• Plan and direct construction and maintenance activities for transmission, distribution, and substation facilities.
• Support estimating and pre-construction efforts with scope and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with internal and third-party engineering teams on design deliverables and submittals.
• Oversee procurement of long-lead materials and equipment.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts, and productivity to meet financial targets.
