Job summary

Potelco, Inc. in Sumner, WA is seeking an Associate Project Manager to oversee high voltage transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects in office and field settings.

You will participate in planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and safety oversight while learning AR and AP processes to develop a well-rounded project manager. The position pays $34.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must be willing to travel short-term.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and permitting agencies.
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.
• Assist with managing project costs to stay within forecasted budget.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve construction issues.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
