Job summary

Dashiell is hiring a Field Service Technician to support high-voltage substation testing, maintenance, and commissioning from its West Monroe, LA office. The role advances through Level I–Senior based on experience, with increasing responsibility and autonomy under the Field Supervisor.

The position requires hands-on electrical testing, documentation, and adherence to NFPA 70E and OSHA standards. Travel and outdoor work are anticipated as part of field projects.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and high-voltage equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Understanding of NFPA 70E and OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities under supervision.
• Assist with testing of power apparatus and protective relay systems.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and reports.
• Support field crews during testing and commissioning activities.
