Job summary

Dashiell Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to support high-voltage substation testing, maintenance, and commissioning from our Port Arthur, TX office. Techs will operate across Level I–Senior, with growth tied to experience and demonstrated knowledge.

Based in Port Arthur, TX, you will perform electrical tests, assist with relay calibration, and prepare detailed reports, while upholding NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• No prior professional experience required for Level I; 1+ year for Level II and 3+ years for Level III.
• Experience with high-voltage testing procedures and protective relay calibration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and commissioning on high-voltage substations and equipment.
• Assist with testing documentation, data recording, and reporting.
• Lead smaller field tasks and mentor junior technicians where applicable.
• Follow safety procedures and NFPA 70E/OSHA standards.
