Job summary

Dashiell seeks Field Service Technicians at levels I–Senior for high-voltage testing, commissioning, and maintenance of substations in the Fitchburg, WI area. You will support testing of transformers, switchgear, relays, and protection systems, under supervision with clear opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; equivalent field experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year testing/commissioning experience for Level II; 3+ years for Level III; 5+ years for Senior level.
• Familiarity with high-voltage test procedures (IR, RC, turns ratio, power factor, hi-pot, timing).
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning on high-voltage substations and equipment under varying supervision.
• Lead field assignments and mentor junior staff as levels advance.
• Prepare test reports and documentation with accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure safety procedures, PPE, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards are followed.
