Job summary
Hitachi Energy seeks a High Voltage Field Service Engineer to perform field assignments on High Voltage equipment up to 800kV, including installation, commissioning, testing, and repairs. Qualifications
- Strong technical experience with High Voltage Circuit Breakers and related equipment up to 800kV.
- Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, inspection, repair, upgrades or retrofits.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to lead complex field assignments.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, test, repair, overhaul, upgrade, retrofit, and replace HV equipment up to 800kV.
- Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues and independently determine corrective actions.
- Lead field service projects, including testing, analysis, and technical reporting.
- Provide technical leadership in test equipment assembly and operation.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and recommend improvements through customer insight.
