Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with Vehicle Networks; CAN; Communication Protocols; Software; and Functional Safety ISO26262 requirements.
• International and domestic travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support the Zero Transmission (f/k/a eMobility) Group as the High Voltage Power & Safety Systems Controls engineer.
• Develop global features and functions for the HV system and ensure NAFTA feature integration.
• Investigate future control strategies for optimal PowerNet control and HV safety.
• Perform Functional Safety analysis at the feature level and assist with system testing and sign-off.
• Create regional feature requests for the US market and drive implementation.
