Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Sr Engineer for Charging Systems - Functions to lead software and function development for base charging systems. You will ensure cohesive ECU integration and strong network communication across components, while exploring advanced control strategies for electrified powertrains.
The role demands collaboration with feature owners and international teams to align charging capabilities with DTNA's next-generation platforms.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- Six years of experience in electric powertrain, charging, and high voltage systems development.
- Experience with vehicle charging station communication protocols and CAN.
- Experience with embedded systems and controls development for series ZEV projects.
Responsabilidades
- Lead function development and software implementation for base charging systems.
- Ensure all functions are implemented into ECUs with cohesive software and network communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions to integrate charging solutions.
- Develop and implement charging strategies for fast charging meeting customer needs.
