Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Senior Engineer for Charging Systems - Functions to lead function development and software implementation of base charging systems in electrified powertrains.

You'll work with feature and component owners to ensure cohesive software, ECU integration, and forward-looking control strategies for fast, high-power charging. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• Six years of experience in electric powertrain, charging, and high voltage systems development.
• Experience with vehicle charging station communication protocols and CAN networks.
• Ability to lead function development and software implementation for charging systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
