Based at Harrisburg, PA, the role requires travel to worksites, strict safety adherence, and the ability to work varied shifts. The position emphasizes field operations, system diagnostics, and continuous equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• High voltage training completed or six years journey-level electrical experience.
• Six years journey-level electrical experience with at least 18 months in high voltage work.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License not suspended.
• Master Electrician License from City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
• At least 18 months industrial/commercial switchgear experience.
• Willing and able to report to 509 North 7th Street, Harrisburg, PA daily and work different shifts.

Responsibilities

• System Operations: Analyze, install, and maintain electrical machinery and equipment.
• Emergency Response: Make critical changes during breakdowns and repair hot electrical systems following safety procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, troubleshoot, and repair control equipment, meters, and generators.
• Power Distribution: Monitor switchboards and distribution of electrical power and adjust controls per operating procedures.
• Field Work: Travel to and work at heights on platforms and in confined spaces.
• Technical Diagnostics: Install and fix variable frequency drives and use computers/phones for communication.
