Job summary

City of Philadelphia seeks a skilled electrician to perform full-performance level work in city facilities, including water/wastewater plants, public properties, and airport settings where FAA regulations apply.

Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing 13.2KV primary distribution equipment, installing and servicing switchgear, and ensuring compliance with NEC and safety standards. Experience with high-voltage systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of full performance level experience in the electrical trade.
• One year of experience performing work on high-voltage primary distribution equipment (13.2KV).
• Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair 13.2KV primary distribution equipment.
• Alter, install, maintain, and repair electrical switchgear, equipment and fixtures.
• Apply safety standards and NEC guidelines; in Airport environments, follow FAA regulations where applicable.
