Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Shift Manager Maintenance (Electrical) in Coatesville, PA. The role leads specialized craft teams across high-voltage, motor repair, and plant HVAC/combustion systems, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations.

The candidate will supervise technicians, act as technical SME during outages, and enforce NFPA 70E and LOTO protocols for zero-incident operations. A strong electrical background is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma and supervisory experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Electrical/Electronics experience required.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and high-voltage safety understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise specialized craft technicians and shop personnel across HV, motor repair, and plant systems.
• Serve as escalation authority during outages and major plant downtime.
• Oversee routine maintenance and switching for substations up to 138kV and feeders.
• Guide diagnostics/repairs on 5,000+HP motors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs and crane controls.
