Job summary

Summit Line Construction in Caldwell, ID is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-voltage transmission and distribution construction and maintenance projects across the country. This role ensures successful organization, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and subcontractor management with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The position requires 5–7 years of PM experience, strong Excel and project software skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in high-voltage electric transmission and distribution or inside commercial, industrial electrical construction or a related field.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with project software is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing directions.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and manage budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure project costs stay within forecasted budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
• Develop and manage Schedule of Values (SOV) and prepare billing packages.
• Assist in pre-construction efforts including bid preparation and contract review.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly projections and progress reporting.
• Develop, submit, track, and maintain project submittals and RFIs.
• Oversee invoicing or payment applications for completed scope.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules reflecting the scope.
• Monitor weekly labor, materials, and subcontractor reporting for quality control.
