Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Category Manager (High Voltage) to lead and optimize procurement for renewable energy projects. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

The role supports a broad project portfolio with travel to multiple office locations. A background in construction procurement and strong negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or contract negotiation.
• Experience in construction industries preferred.
• Supply Chain Certification (CSCP/CSCM/CPP) or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to influence, lead and collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year procurement strategy for renewable project pipeline.
• Engage internal stakeholders to capture category requirements.
• Lead category sourcing strategies using best-cost approaches and market intelligence.
• Monitor market trends, policy changes, and adjust procurement strategies.
• Lead supplier relationship management, scorecards, and quarterly reviews.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, legal and construction teams on supply matters.
