Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Technician II (38KV Front) for 2nd shift. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying high/medium voltage assemblies and sub-assemblies per specifications, with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will work from engineering drawings and procedures, complete checklists, and support continuous improvement and coaching within the team. The position requires basic tools experience, one year in manufacturing, and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Skilled in the knowledge and safe use of hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for high/medium voltage assemblies and related sub-assemblies.
• Fill ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists and production lists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Regularly inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators and maintain documentation.
• Respond to change notices and customer-initiated development needs.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work for customers.
• Train and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
