Job summary

Eaton is seeking an IGX Rears Technician III, 2nd Shift, at its Greenwood, SC location. The role focuses on assembling, wiring, and modifying complex mid/high voltage assemblies and sub-assemblies.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of assembly experience, with no visa sponsorship offered and no relocation benefits. Training may occur on first shift initially, with a mix of shift hours later.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT, OPT, STEM OPT or other visa programs.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, fit, and modify complicated assemblies.
• Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.
• Maintain Kanban inventory levels and report shortages.
• Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and development needs.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.
