Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Technician II (38KV Front) on 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. The core hours are 4:30pm–1:30am Mon–Thu and 3:30pm–7:30pm Fri.

This role involves mounting and wiring electrical equipment, following procedures and safety rules in a lean manufacturing setting. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, hands-on tool experience, 1 year manufacturing experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Skilled in the knowledge and safe use of hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and instructions to established procedures.
• Fill out ISO, quality and production checklists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and development needs.
• Assist engineering, drafting and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues for knowledge transfer.
