Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble, wire, and modify complex high- and medium-voltage assemblies, breakers, and power modules.

You will follow manufacturing information and drawings, complete quality checklists, mount electrical equipment, and assist with engineering changes. Overtime may be required; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of assembly experience.
• No sponsorship for immigration; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, fit and modify complicated assemblies above typical complexity.
• Fill out ISO quality checklists, production lists and feedback forms as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Maintain Kanban inventories and report shortages to operators.
• Respond to change notices and development needs; work with engineering.
