Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Application Engineer for High Voltage Solutions to manage quotation processes from RFQ receipt through closeout.

You will collaborate with sales, customers, and manufacturing to develop compelling technical and commercial proposals that meet customer requirements and company objectives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 1–3 years of engineering experience, and strong communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field or 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Experience supporting customer quotations, technical proposals, and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with field sales teams, customers and manufacturing facilities during the quotation process.
Review RFQs, specifications, emails and customer requirements.
Develop understanding of customer applications, OEM requirements and market needs.
Lead quotation opportunities from initial review to final submission.
Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations for WEG products and solutions.
