Rise.ai is seeking an Account Executive based in New York to own the full sales motion, from prospecting to close, across inbound and outbound channels. You will identify, engage, and qualify Shopify ecosystem merchants, deliver tailored product demos, and build long-term relationships to drive adoption.

The role emphasizes independence, a fast-paced environment, and a hybrid/onsite presence with some travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales or Business Development in eCommerce/SaaS/MarTech.
• Proven pipeline building and independent closing with inbound and outbound.
• Familiar with Shopify merchants, partners, agencies, and integrations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and set priorities without a rigid playbook.
• Experience in SMB or high-velocity sales with focus on adoption and usage.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Some travel and hybrid in‑office presence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales motion: drive inbound/outbound pipeline end-to-end from prospecting to close.
• Execute outbound strategies with tailored outreach for eCommerce merchants.
• Manage inbound interest, qualify and convert leads for long-term adoption.
• Deliver value-driven demos linking Rise.ai capabilities to merchant pain points.
• Build merchant relationships with brands to drive pipeline and retention.
• Track and optimize pipeline performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and customer success for go-to-market and onboarding.
• Stay informed on Shopify ecosystem developments and product updates to position Rise.ai effectively.
