Job summary

Jobot is seeking 1st-6th year Litigation Associates to join a sophisticated and growing litigation practice at a top AmLaw 50 firm. You will work on complex disputes across state and federal courts, collaborate with senior attorneys, and take on meaningful responsibility as you develop your litigation skills.

Qualifications

• 1-6 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in complex litigation.
• Prior experience at a sophisticated law firm is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and prepare sophisticated memoranda, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Assist with discovery, including document review, written discovery, depositions, and discovery strategy.
• Participate in case development, fact investigation, and preparation for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and evaluate potential risks and outcomes.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, experts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel as appropriate.
• Contribute to matters involving sophisticated legal and business issues across a variety of industries.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
